Nestle's Dark Chocolate & Mint MorselsChristmas is the time to stock up on Limited Edition Nestle's Dark Chocolate & Mint Morsels. They make the best fudgy brownies!  Our local Jewel Osco grocery store carries them, and I'm sure most chain grocers will have them as well.  You can also buy them on Amazon. Nestle's Dark Chocolate & Mint Morsels are key for one of my most requested desserts - Dark Chocolate Mint Brownies. Click for the recipe. Make two batches, they won't last long. They also freeze well.

Some tips for these outstanding brownies are to be sure to bake them in a square 8 inch X 8 inch pan for the best results and thickness - not too thin or too thick. I chose not to frost them as it will take away from the overall flavor and texture.  Also use the darkest cocoa powder that you can find for that deep rich flavor. My favorite is King Arthur's Black Cocoa.   It really enhances the flavor. Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa is also excellent choice.
